Ok it seems like there are a lot of dyna guys that have hid lights. I just bought one for my night train, mounted everything under my seat (it was a very tight fit). I extended the wires and plugged it in and it lit right up. Now my questions are did you guys mount a toggle switch to start the bike with the light off? And if so where did you mount it? Also did you use a waterproof/weatherproof switch?

 

I set mine up so with the high beam on it is off. So I turn it off when I stop and turn it on once the bike is started. The bike starts with it on but that is how I do it.

 

I have a bi xenon so it is a hi and lo. I know I is just the bulb moving in there and the light really doesn't get any brighter. Did you just not hook up the high beam or not have a bi setup?

 

I bought a single beam 35W 6000k h4 bulb. I hooked the power to the low beam side and nothing to the high beam side.
