How much of a PITA was it to mount up a SG lights to the fender? I'd like to get rid of my tail light on the switchback and have the light bar and turn signals run double duty.
This winter I plan to extend the fender and install extended touring bags on the stock mounting hardware.

Measurement
Can anyone tell me how wide the SB fender. That is the distance between the struts that hold the fender on. I purchased a composite fender for the rear but the lines just are not right. This is my 2005 FXDL. I am redoing it. I am using Fat Bob trees, 49mm fork tubes & 2014 FLT lowers with 30mm Ohlins. On the back I need to install street glide turn signals w/LED's. I got 16" X 3 3/4" wide CF rims and 130mm up front & 150mm on the rear. I am using my 320mm rotors & real 65mm, twin pin Brembo calipers with adapters. I have removed the V-Rod lowers shown.
This fender is 8" wide and requires a lot of work. As you can see I have a set of switchback bags going on. I am thinking of a switchback rear fender that will be modified than make a mould and manufacture it with CF, Klegecell backing (for strength) with triaxial fiberglass underneath to finish the sandwich.
I took my 49mm FatBob set of trees and purchased a complete set of Switchback headlight and I am in the process of making this fit. This is very hard as the nacelle is made for a different raked trees, the steering stem offset is different. I do not recommend anyone doing this and have it come out like it was made for this application. I am sure I will do it but it is very time consuming.
