Default Can't see my "N" or turn arrows flash.

I push the turn signal or I put the motorcycle in neutral. Unless I get close use my hand to cover outside light or it is dark I can't see the things light up. It is hard enough to find neutral on my bike. Not being able to see a green N doesn't help at all. I mean I can't even see it on a cloudy day.

Anyone know how I can make these lights brighter? Or maybe add something to the bike to take away the outside light so they can better be seen? Maybe a smoked plexi-glass can do it? Just everything on this display is dim except maybe the red oil light before bike is started.

Overall it is just a pain it the butt. Doesn't stop me from enjoying the bike though.

When my neutral bulb burned out. I cleaned the thin plastic lens that covers the warning lights, and they are brighter.

yup that, what year is your bike? there's no more bulbs, it's just a board now a days. then take it apart and clean it if it isn't burnt. I hope you have the manual, there is one little trick to get the board out of the socket.

The bike is a 2000. I am not the original owner obviously. I took the seat off awhile ago and found some custom wire work done for LED's. Not all of it was connected right if at all.

After I rewired them I noticed the lights are brighter for the display now. Still not as bright as I would like them to be but now it has me thinking I am still looking for a electrical problem.

If your Avatar is correct you have bulbs. Get some LED replacements from Super Bright LED.
Match the color LED to the lens color. You'll be glad you did.
Also check the ground to the console frame.

Yes my Avatar is my bike and my plan will be to go over more of the wiring tomorrow. Especially the ground. I will look into new LED bulbs also TY.

I'm going to try the LED's. $3.50 ea.for the brightest. Good idea going the same colors as the lens/function color. Maybe I'll do the speedo & tach and be 100% LED.

Maybe I am just new to the site but I can't find a very high brightness LED bulb that looks like I can use it. Kind of late now. I will look more tomorrow I guess.

EDIT: Would this be it by chance? http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...edge-base/201/ I seem limited if I want to go with green and these say indoor use recommended.
