Default Cables needed for 10" MX/TBars for Speedo/Tach?

I bought an 04 FXD and the speedo and tach are mounted on the handle bars currently. I would put either 10" MX (which would really be 8" for the tach/speedo) or T bars on it like my 02 has now, but I'm looking to find out if there is enough play in the stock cables to get them up that high on the higher bars. O and pics of guys running both styles with speedo/tach mounted would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

if the bars are stock now then you will need at least +2" cables.
