I used a simple piece of 1/4" x 1" x 8" long of aluminum bar stock I got at Home Dept, drilled out a few holes and relocated my turn signals to just past the struts - pretty simple and I then put on full size Heritage bags

bag will hold two gallons of milk or water and can fit in a small loaf of raisin bread. on the left side holds my heavy riding jacket and gloves extra glasses, and some cleaning stuff. the other side bag holds chaps and my akoury helmet and has room for some extra. and all my stuff stays dry and its lockable.

I just put a set of Leatherlyke hard bags on my '08 Fatbob. Love them, easy install, sleek contemporary look (without all the studs and do-dads). Very Roomy, padding on the inside. Bolt right up with perfect cut outs for the shocks and turn signals. Install very tight with or without the Detachable hardware. $489.

I have some Viking Hard bags on mine and they work pretty good! Don't have them on there all the time...just when I need them.

I use some easy brackets. On the install I did one bag at a time as both bags were not quite the same size on the back side (off by 1/4" or so). But it came out rather well. Check out the pics!

I put Boss bags on mine, defenately recommend them. They lock on with a latching mechanism, on and of in 5 seconds. You can stand on them and you can use a padlock to keep folks out. I paid $800 4 years ago, but worth every penny. Check them out.

Got a nice used set of hard bags from a classic. Used the front holes and redrilled the rear holes. Took out the quick attatch back rest bolts and bolted straight tgrough to the struts. Super solid.
