Default Fat Bob Throttle control?

I'm picking up a 2009 Fat Bob this weekend in Colorado, and riding it back over 900 miles. I was wondering if the 2009 came with the twisting star throttle control standard? If not, is it something that can be installed pretty easy?

Im pretty sure all of the throttle by cable bikes have the feature. The device is meant for warm up but not so much as a cruise control.

I think the throttle lock has been standard for HD for a long time. My '91 had it, and my 08 does, and I've seen it on 09s. Unless you've got cruise control like the touring bikes they should have it.

I haven't personally read the owners manual, but somebody on another post said:

In my manual, it's on pg. 37 in the Controls and Indicators section under Throttle Control Grip.

" To reduce rider fatigue on long trips, a spring-loaded throttle friction adjustment screw (10) is located at the bottom of the throttle grip clamp on non-cruse equipped models."

that'd be the "Throttle friction adjusting screw" in the diagram

I've used the Throttle Mate for several years. Works well & you can't beat the price.
