Default Dunlop dilemma

I have read several threads on bad Dunlop tires and today noticed multiple cracks in my front tire that has about 4,000 mi on it and are about 9 months old. I am not impressed with the tread wear either for a front tire. These may be my last Dunlop.
What is a good tire to replace them with? Thanks

My dealer just replaced my one year old Dunlap tire under warranty for "dry rot" or something like that. Service writer said there was some problem or defect.

Michelin is the brand that comes on the new model.

Dunlop update: Frazier Harley in Duluth GA put a tire on my bike that was made in 1993. Yes it was dry ROTTTT. What a fine HD dealership.

I agree with that 100%. I ran several sets through my bike. Just hated only getting 4500-5K out of the rear.

Theres a lot of positive posts about the michelin commander ll. I installed one on front about 1,500 miles ago and really happy with the way the bike handles.

Talk with your dealer, but if yours is like mine, you may not get any support there. I called Dunlop and they were supportive. Unfortunately, I had Armor All'd mine, and the way that I read it, that voids the warranty. Unfortunately for me, too, the next day I ran over a big screw, so I just bought another. The Dunlop representative indicated that they would make it right if the warranty wasn't voided, so I took him at his word - no more AA for me on the bike...but I will likely go to Michelin when I replace the set next time...
