Default Playing wth spray paint

I decided to paint my 1/4 fairing, getting the '03 FXDP ready to sell. Wanted to get some feedback on the layout. My plan is to paint it the way it's in the pics. And stripe between the satin black & birch white with a 5/8" 100 yr. anniversary stripe, or a thin silver pin stripe (decals). My other thought was following the contour of the fairing and having the color division end about halfway down the headlight opening.

That'd look great. Do the stripe and post pics when you're done.

From photos it looks good. I have had good results with rattle cans with carefull prep and application added with proper gloss coats applied.

And patience. I wrinkled the satin black by applying the white to soon. Sanded the fairing and will wait a few days and try again. It looked good on 90% of the surface.
