Default Turn signal move

I wanted to relocate my turn signals while I was making some other changes to my '13 WG and thought I'd do a thread on it.

I started by making signal mounts for my forward controls.
This is what I started with.

after spending some quality time with my dremel and drill I ended up with this.

It's not perfect but it works. You can see the dimensions on the ruler and the sizes for the holes are marked

This picture shows the right signal in place and the connecter for the right signal pulled out of the frame.

Why would you put the signal down that low where it might not be noticed?

It actually isn't in the way at all.

This pic shows the connectors for the signals in the wiring harness (white for left, black for right). If you buy the signal relocation kit from Harley you get connectors.

since I didn't buy the kit I had to solder. I cut the connectors off, soldered on wire extensions then soldered them to the signals.

I cut the signals off the wires on the handles, shrink wrapped the tails and stuffed them into the handlebars. After I removed the signal brackets from the bottom off the mirrors the stem was too long for the nut so I had to trim it down a bit.
