What government shutdown?

 

I like the concrete kickstand strip. So they redid the lot during the shutdown?

 

Looks great but where are the rest of the bikes? Two rows provided and only one present! On average, how many bikes will eventually be parked?

 

See, it takes the government being shut down for something intelligent to get done.

 

The center line concrete for kickstands was added just as the shutdown was getting underway.

For the past three weeks or so, the entire lot was taped off.

I was the first to pull in this morning and most riders didn't know the lot had opened back up with the center line spot painting complete.

On a nice day, most of the spots in the outer two rows are filled, with some double parking going on. The added third (center) row of spaces are a nice option.

I'll post a new photo when more bikes are present.

Smart idea, the kickstand won't sink into concrete on those hot summer days. Good luck soldier and may God be with you.

 

Very cool. I don't think there was any motorcycle specific parking when I was stationed at Bragg.
