Default Ness or Gauntlet 1/4 fairing question.

I'm looking at purchasing one of these fairings and was wondering if I would be able to keep my mini apes titlted forward or do I have to move them back. They are currently siiting straight up with no angle. Thanks for the help, picture would be helpful if you have this set-up.

Nope, you'll have to roll em back.
Only the HD fairing, and the conleys version sit the fairing far enough forward to do this. I rigged up my Rifle to sit farther out so I could keep my bars forward, but all the buffeting wasn't worth it. I'd say just get the fairing you like and move the bars a bit to accommodate them. It'll be more functional and look fine.

If you use Bung King's brackets with the HD fairing, you'll have plenty of adjustment to accomodate your apes. That's what I used with mine (when I had them), and it worked out well.

Don't know about the Gauntlet, but I shied away from the Ness fairing because the mini apes I was running at the time would have to be tilted further back than I like.

Some guys don't like the look of apes with quarter fairing, but I do, especially the Z bar type. I only switched to t-bars because the fairing allowed my to cruise at much higher speed, which exposed some of the short comings of apes.

I think this one will work, it's the Gauntlet from Memphis shades.
