I just bought a 2009 Superglide that someone had installed a set of true duals on it. I want to go back to OEM headpipes and shields,and will find a set of aftermarket slip-ons. I found a set of front OEM pipes,shields from a 2013 that I am considering using. I would like to know if Harley changed any brackets or pipes on the newer models. Will the newer system work on a 2009? Appreciate any imput!

 

The newer pipes use smaller oxygen sensors. I think that changed in '12. Your sensors won't fit in those pipes.

Thanx for your reply. You are correct,as in 2012 the sensors are 12mm. I see where reducer kits are available. Tom
