Question How to turn off head light 2013 Street Bob

Where is the fuse for the head light. All I could find is two fuses in left side cover below seat. Called P and A and Battery. Removal of which did not turn off head light when I turned on ignition . I do have service manual but could not find.
Have to install and program tuner and want to turn off head light to conserve battery.

Thanks,
roger

In your service manual in the wire diagrams does it show a fuse for the head lamp? I don't have a manual for your bike but have you tried looking under the seat for a second fuse box? I am Shure you must have more then 2 fuses for the whole Bike.

Would appreciate if some one with a receint Street Bob could tell me where the fuse box for the head light is located. I do have a service manual, but can not find the fuse.
Thanks,
Roger

If you can't find the fuse, the head light has a plug that's pretty easy to get to just when the wiring goes into the frame.

The 12v power for your headlights comes from the Body Control Module (BCM). The wire colors are blue/yellow for low beam and blue/white for hifg beam.

The BCM gets its 12v power from the battery through the 40 amp main fuse.

I'd recommend to unplug the 4 pin headlight connector or remove the bulb from the fitting.

My thoughts exactly. I had to replace my ignition module yesterday, and it's a 40-50 minute process where the bike has to be on for long intervals, draining the battery. I used a tender and it all turned out fine.

I'd unplug the headlight AND use a 1.5 amp Battery Tender. Its what plan to do this weekend when I swap my TSSM for a TSM.

Would unplug if I could find the connection. I am hoping some one will tell me where the fuse is located. Or where the connection is.
Thanks,
Roger
