I want to do it, but how does it ride/handle?
Does it pound the crap out of you?

Hah I just ordered all new front and rear suspension components to replace my Burly kit! The ride is nice and it looks awesome but there's just not enough ground clearance for me. I drug my pegs on every turn over 5mph and anything over 15mph I drug my pipes on right handers. My original exhaust was the V&H Comp 2-1 which ride very low anyway, but even the Rinehart I replaced those with drug on daily riding. So unfortunately I decided to take my Burly kit back off and go with something closer to stock height. Hopefully you don't run into the same problems because it really does give the bike an awesome stance!

Congrats man, the slammer is da chit'..

Regarding the scraping issues.. I had them when I was running the stock headers and the 3" V&H slipons. I swapped over to the short shots and no scraping issues running the 1" spacer up front giving the full 2"drop. THEN... I tried just slamming the back just to see how it 'felt'. Well it felt great until I started dragging the pipes haha

I always dragged my pegs, even on stock suspension so that was never a worry...meh, they're just pegs

We live and learn...

Welcome to the club. When you get them all installed get some good pics and send them to Burly and they will send you a shirt. They did me.

Got my shirt

I don't scrape as much as others. Sure I can scrape if I want to, but also can keep from scraping if I want to also. Haven't felt the need to drive to the point of scraping. And I do take corners over 5mph...Ride isn't that bad either. YMMV
