Default Good for a beginner?

The days are getting closer and I'm getting ready to go to the dealership and get a Harley. It's been a life long dream of mine to get a motorcycle, ever since my dad brought home his 1979 Roadster XLS, and at the age of 29 I'm finally going to get one.

I'm currently trying to choose between a 2000 Softail, 2001 Dyna Lowrider, and a 2001 Dyna Wide Glide.

I'm about 5'11 240 lbs. So I should probably getting someting bigger than a Sportster...So how what kinds of things could I expect from a Dyna? Pro's and Con's...I'd love to hear it

I will take a Dyna over a sportster any day.
All of them will fit you just fine.
See if you can test ride them and make your choice based on what you like.

Make sure it does NOT have the Magnetti Mirelli fuel injection!!!

For a 2001, you're probably better off with a carb. I wish I would have gone that way.

your alright in my book.

One thing I noticed comfort wise was after 500km the vertical part of the seat rubbed against my back side, tail bone area. I only say this because I didn't notice when I sat on it at the dealership.

Default Dyna

Why not get a 2007 or later Dyna? 6 speed tranny and 96ci motor makes for a more fun ride! A lot better than a Sporty.

$ wise, I don't have a ton of money to spend and I'd like to keep the payments low
