Default Cam bearings removal/replace

Anyway a guy can safely remove these and install new ones without the special tool? All ideas appreciated.. thanks

Split the cases and you can knock them out with a hamer and a punch.

You can get the puller from http://www.georges-garage.com reasonable price.
I have seen ppl using a slide blind hole hammer and broke the bearing cage, rollers fell into the crank. Finally you realize that saving money is good but you might end up spending more. Good luck!

Less expensive than others and very good quality. I bought the one with the cutout on the top side of the plate so you're not trying to line up the shaft blind. Spend a little now or a lot later when you damage things, your choice.

I used the blind hole bearing puller I bought from Harbor freight when I did mine and I will use it on my brother's too.

I don't get why everyone is so scared about using one. It can be used on more than one thing like a specialty tool so its a good value too.
