being neither boarding weather or biking weather my boredom got the best of me and i photochopped my bike to get a sneak peak of what i'll be riding this summer...

westcost mx-tbars - i think it's 10" bars i want, and this looks more like 12 (and wiiiiiide). after seeing Irish883s recent tbar thread i might knock up another image right regular tbars...

removed front sigs - want to put some truewrapz or snap-on leds either at the top of the fork boots or just above the bottom tree

blaced out rocker box and pushrod covers - not sold on this yet, some days i like it some days i like that little bit of chrome

i've my eyes on the road rage II mega power also but that's a photo-job beyond my abilities.

anyhoo, was a fun hour or so and thought i'd share - throw in your opinions, i can take it!

 

don't like those bars on that particular bike, i'd go with cooler apes. and leave the push rods chrome, sometimes there is to much black. IMO

 

You do need a fairing for that bar, to each their own, it is yours.

 

yeah, i've a hunch that'll have to happen... not super keen on the fairing, especially since I put on a 7" headlight but I think it'll end up going that way!

 

Ill vote on cooler Apes but I'm just biased

 

i see where you're coming from, it seems like apes go best with laced wheels and tbars with mags

i'm looking at mags but can't afford em yet... maybe i should wait to do them both at once!

 

i have mags and mini apes, it's a matter of preference. i just think i'd put a fairing on with those bars or they look funky without it.. i just dont like moto bars on cruiser type bikes. they belong on dirt bikes, but thats my opinion. but like he said, to each his own.

 

I say leave the chrome. Don't get me wrong I love black, but that little bit of chrome helps set it off IMO. I'm kind of partial to apes, but I am kinda digging the T Bars...I think bars and wheels at the same time would be the way to go.
