Default Pipes going on tomorrow... Whats needed?

So obviously I have the pipes... What else is needed for install? I am assuming I will need a new gasket, I bought used pipes so I think I will need to buy a gasket. Does anyone have a PN?

Also do I need to torque the bolts? If so, what do I torque them to?

Thanks Guys.

I would recommend replacing the gaskets. Not sure of the part number my local hd had it in stock was $14 for the two. When I picked them up yesterday.

Gaskets you need depend on the pipe. If tapered ends, use stock, if square cut ends use SE gaskets

Thanks for the PN's guys. I will head to the dealer in the morning and pick the stuff up. I read an old thread that said something about a retaining ring?? Do I need that to?

Yeah you will need a circlip pliars to take off the retaining clip that holds on the header flange.

You will reuse the header flange and clip from your pipes now.

All you need is 2 tappered crush gaskets form HD dealer.

So what do you think of them ... I told you they were nice and you got a hell of a deal my friend

Changed a lot of pipes never needed new retaining clips or any kind of tool to remove .
The only thing to remember is use a good penetrating oil (not WD-40) on the exhaust header bolts the night before and change the pipes cold . Do not over tighten .

To be honest, I haven't even opened the box. They have been sitting in the box at my work waiting to head to my parents house where the bike is stored for the winter. I am super pumped to get them on tho. Air cleaner and micro tuner should have been delivered today. I think I am going to do everything on Sunday.
