Don't buy progressive they make junk. Tons of better options out there for the same price if not less. Good luck choosing between them
Also if you ride hard I would encourage you to buy longer then 12" i just bought 13" and with the new, well performing suspension it's still too easy to drag the pegs/pipe. Maybe 13"-13.5". I'm only 5'9" and I can still firmly plant my right foot on the ground at every stop

I had Ricors for about 2 years, which replaced a pair of 412s that were too short (11") and was a harsh ride. The Ricors were leaking after about 2 years so had to replace and went with Pro 970s. I do think the 970s are a good shock for the price. Ride is good and has a lot more settings. I think the Ricors are much better than non reservoir Pros, but the 970s are better than my old Ricors. Not sure about the JRIs but thought they were similar to Ricors while the Ohlins are outstanding but pricey.

I have some Bitubo non reservoir shocks on order. There sold though Traxxion. Floating oil/gas separators fully adjustable they come in all chrome or black and chrome or new all black. The best part $550.00. They do have to place a minimal order from Bitubo so Dan had told me they'd be about 4 weeks. Check them out. You could get on the same order and have them in 2 weeks. I believe Monster715 has Bitubo ?

I've been running 970's for 4 years and its the best 700 Ive spent. Ive gone over curbs, R/R tracks & potholes and they ride like a dream. You need to ride hard and hit uneven pavement on twisties to upset the suspension. I attribute that to the rubber mounted engine moving independently within the frame. Someday Ill add a true track stabilizer

I like them just need to dial them in. I haven't set the sag or messed with the rebound/ dampening adjustments yet. And I should rephrase what I said before about progressive. Not saying they make junk, but IMO there is better shocks available for the same price you'll get progressives for
