Default Torque Setting question

Probably a stupid question, but here goes

I have a 2012 SB and am changing/upgrading with the following;

- mustang solo seat
- progressive 412 rear shocks
- FL-XiED
- V&H short shorts
- Kuryakan Mach 2 aircleaner

I am not an experienced mechanic or know much about these mods, but would like to try them in order to learn a bit more

However, this will likely be the limit of my "mechanical tinkering"

Do I need to worry about torque settings for any of those (except the XiED's) or do I simply tighten them and add some threadlocker?

If I need to worry about torque, do I need to purchase a manual for the settings?

I understand the benefit of a manual, but honestly, anything else I will likely get someone to do for me

service manual and torque is needed for exhaust. I think you could do without for the rest. Get a service manual, lots of good info in it.

You can get an electronic Service Manual for about $5 online - can't pass on that!

I think the torque on the ac backplate and shocks are kinda important too.

I wouldn't worry about the seat or tuner. The rest, yeah. I would.

Why pay when you can get it free online from HD? Go to the HD website. Top right corner click on OWNERS. Next click on Maintain Your Bike. Click on Owner's Manual. Then Create A Profile if you have'nt done so already. You will have access and be able to download/print the service manual for your specific year/model of your bike. Free.
