Default 2012 FatBob Front Turn signal relocating questions -Single white wire? UPDATED W/PICS

Hey guys, i'm in the process of relocating the front turn signals from the bars, to right below bottom triple trees, via the Drag Specialties mount. I have a couple questions:

1) After cutting the turn signal wires at the controls and pulling the extra black and white turn signal 3-pin connectors from the frame, it looks like i'm going to be about 3 inches short of wire to make the connection. It looks like i'll need to splice in a few inches, add some pin connectors. I already bought the pin connectors and a couple 3-pin connectors to connect to the ones already supplied in the frame. Does anyone know what gauge wire is used for the turn signals? It looks like maybe 18ga stranded?

2) Connected to the right (throttle) side wire loom, is a single WHITE wire w/light GREY tracer. Both ends have a connector and look like they should be connected, but they are not. Does anyone know if this should be connected and maybe it came disconnected when I was pulling the wires out of the frame? Or is it for a factory alarm, if equipped?

Thanks for any help on either of my questions.

Also, if anyone who has relocated the front turn signals to the fork tubes / triple trees, have any pictures from the rear, showing how the made their wire connections and how / where they routed the wiring back into the frame, that would be a huge help.

Here's a couple pics of the "WHITE" wire in question. Anyone know about if it's supposed to be plugged in, or left undone? Also, what's it's function?

1st, 18guage stranded wire is correct. You need at least 18guage to manage the 2.7mA OD current for a single TS on high intensity.

2nd. This one is tougher. I have the same wire, but it is connected. I left it that way. It also bypasses the connectors and goes straight to the bars without interruption. I think it has something to do with the security system.

Do you have a security system?

That single wire is like an enigma I haven't found anyone to answer what it was. Heard everything from tied in with the kill switch to part of the security system which my bike doesn't have to just an accessory wire. Mine had the pin break out when I changed my bars and it still cranks and runs absolutely normally. Just some food for thought

I'll add another theory. It's a wire only used on the bikes sold internationally.

According to the 2012 Dyna Models wiring diagram the W/GY wire runs from the engine stop switch to the Engine Stop Switch Input point (C4) at the Body Control Module (BCM)

2014 Harley Davidson breakout
So I am installing new LED front turn signals and want to tie into the terminal shown in the pic, the one with the red wire black wire and red/white/black/white... can any one tell me which wire is what? ground, turn signal, marker light , blinker??? I'm lost and could really help identifying whats what so I can finish what I thought would be a simple task The drag specialties LEDS are only singe function so i'll be using a blinker genie so I can use them as both marker and blinker, so that's a 3 wire from the genie going into the 2 wire LED.... Can anyone help please?

I highly recommend that you stop what your planning on and reevaluate your choices.
Your bike has a canbus system and adding new electronic gizmos will (probably) not go well.
Just relocate your existing turn signals and get some plug and play Custom Dynamics bulbs and let the canbus handle it.
This will be much simpler and have very little chance of a screw up.
