Default Lowrider owners! - Brake pad/lever question

A question on my lowrider (2008)...

I see all sorts of add-on brake pads, but none seem to fit a Lowrider... it apperas that the brake lever is an "all in one" unit... is that right? Have any of you upgraded your pedal to get rid of the boring rubber and add some chrome? What did you use?

I have forward controls on my Low Rider, I put on a Longhorn brake pedal years ago, been fine. paid $25 from ebay. I think the rubber cover slides off and there is a screw underneath, might be different on mids.

I have forward controls as well. I never looked under the rubber, but many of the pads I searched for were "not compatible" with Lowriders for some reason. I'll have to try that out! i want to get a larger brake pedal area so the longhorn might be a good option.

That may be because the low rider spec'd with mid controls. Since you have the forwards it becomes a search and try effort. I use all kinds of parts off of other models so that is what I usually do. Maybe search another Dyna that used the same type of controls you have.
