Default Quick Plasti Dip question

I have full cover chrome rear shocks, and decided to dip them. They looked cool chrome, but I hated they way they showed when I had my LeatherPro saddlebags on.

I wiped them down to good with alcohol, and sprayed them 4 or 5 times. Waited about an hour between coats. It sprays on kinda weird, but looks killer after it dries. Sprayed the last coat on around 8:30, and will wait till around 3AM to put them back on.

Question...it's supposed to have a rubbery feel to it after it dries, right?

I did a little youtube research on the stuff and was surprised how many people spray their entire cars with the stuff.

plasti-dip is awesome, isn't it? I've done a few things here and there on my bike with it to knock down on glare. One of my buddies decided to spray his entire bike with it. took I think 4 cans for a good coat.

Yes it will have a rubbery feel to it unless you topcoat it with Plastidip Glossifier. My experience with Plastidip is put it on heavy. The more coats the better and easier it is to peel off when the time comes.

I put it on as thick as I could without it running.

I bought 2 cans, and probably used 3/4 of one on my shocks, and the chrome top bolt cover things.
