Default Suspension for FXDWG

I was looking into the Progressive 430 standard or burly slammer kit. Any thoughts? The shocks will be slightly concealed by my bags, so comfort, quality, over looks. I believe they both look bad ***.

Looked at progressive 430 12 & 11. Says 11 isn't a fit..I don't see why not. Burlys are 10.5

I just put on a set of 444s, and they have made a big difference in comfort. As far as the slammers, there's not much clearance between the front lower section of the rear fender and the frame.

They were very simple to install, left mine on the kickstand and replaced one side at a time. You might need a hand to lift up on the back of the bike, to take some weight off the shocks. I used a ratchet strap hooked to a rafter and backrest bolt. Probably a 20 minute job.

I have the Burly Slammers on mine. I love them. I haven't bottomed out yet.

I went with the Sway-A-Way's, absolutely the best ride I've had - rides smoother than my previous CVO RG.....

Have any of you used 11 instead of stock length of 12? Thoughts.

Losing a inch of travel is not the greatest thing to do on a dyna. Depends on if you like the slammed look more then you care about how it rides and handles

I'll care more about how it rides. I can't look at it while I'm on it. I can find the 11 for about 355ish and the 12 for 375ish
