Default dx to dx-t swap

hello, I'm about to swap my dx front end w a dx-t. Problem is everything's in the mail at the moment and my bikes apart at my buddies shop. I kinda feel like Ray Charles...

I searched the dyna threads up and down last night, I didn't seem to find a clear answer. Question, can I use my existing top mounted headlight from dx on my dx-t trees which mounts to the bottom tree? Or will I need an additional parts? (headlight and or headlight trim, etc) the weather is getting nice up here in NH, trying to avoid as much down time as possible. Its been a long winter, I need my knees in the breeze!! thanks guys, I sincerely appreciate the knowledge.

MJ

hey Jeff, ill know for sure tomorrow but based on the illustration I found in the service manual it looks like its not the same head light housing. which mounts down on the bottom tree (dx-t) rather then the top tree. (dx)
