08 SB with 14" Santee Apes before and after
Bought this bad boy in December of last year! It's my first Harley and I was super stoked!! Apparently it was originally red in color and the tins were swaped out with these, #21 of 150 paint set. The stage 1 was already complete with Vance and Hines Long Shot slip-ons, intake and fuel mapping. Bags were included and the forward controls were already installed as well. So for the price I got this for out the door, especially here in Canada, was a steal with all of the work already completed on it, plus it only had just over 11,500 km's!!
Even though I have never worked on a bike before, I have had some experience doing some work to my diesel. So after a lot of research on how to change out bars on a bike, I figured the worst that could happen is I spend twice as much to have someone fix my mistakes!! Challenge accepted!!
Once I got all of my cables sorted out, off to work I went! BTW, I went +6 on all cables except for the brake I went +4. I almost wish I went +2 on the brake and clutch as they are quite long stock as it was. But no matter...
I put on a set of black 14" Santee apes, 2" Loner Industries risers, relocated my front turn signals and Magnum Shielding Black Pearl cables...
