Wind on Street Bob

I live in the desert where the wind is almost constantly blowing at 25 MPH or more. Also the highway speed limits are 65 and the interstate limits are 75. So I have a good bit of experience with wind on the motorcycle.
Here is what I found works for me. I hold on to the handgrips to control the bike. Then I use the core muscles in my abdomen and torso to hold myself upright. The last part is a technique that I have been successfully using since I was 2 years old (admittedly less successful when rum is involved).

I've tried riding with a windshield (HD QR touring), but I get so much buffeting and turbulence from under the windshield its way smoother to ride without it. I'd like a shield for cold weather and long rides where I have a decent chance of rain, but i can't stand my beard floating out in front of me and in front of my face.
I'm guessing a setup like Joe had would prevent this, but riding without a windshield is way easier.

Sorry but you are not allowed to have a windshield.
Please primer your bike black and remove all chrome at once.
Now you know!
Do a search for fork air baffle and lower deflectors.
I get wind but it's not the buffeting type...makes it comfortable for me and my lady.
I work nightshift so unlike a lot of these guys, I understand the benefits of a shield.
Still get bugs smacking you in the face but does help. I wear a beanie so not much help there.
