I just installed 10 inch apes. For whatever reason the hand brake will light the rear brake light, but the foot brake will not light the rear brake light. Any suggestions???????????????????

Yeah, here`s a suggestion...Tell us what you are working on.

 

If the problem started after you installed the bars, go back over every wire and look for a pinched or cut one or a connector that's not making contact. Check the rear brake light switch.

 

It's a 2007 Street glide. Im not sure if it was working prior to the bar install. I was just checking the the hand brake to make sure the brake light would still come on. When it did come on with the hand brake, I knew I hadn't broken the front brake light switch. Where is the rear brake switch located?
