Heated seat connection

Heated seat connection
I have a 17 RGS. I just completed the heated grips installation which wasn't that bad after I decided to throw the Harley directions in the trash. Anyway I ran the power wires down the backbone into the area under the seat as recommended by Harley. I also have the P&A connection kit installed. I hooked the 3 wires from the from the grips to the 3 open wires on the acc. connection kit. No issues and work great.
Now I have a Corbin heated seat I would like to plug in off the same pig tail which per Harley(Yea I laughed a little) should not be a problem. The Corbin seat only has 2 wires ground/hot. I really prefer the seat heats only when switched on. Last thing I need is someone walking by and flipping on the switch and killing the batt. Corbin says the seat shuts off after a hour but I don't want to find out that way. My question: Coming off the acc. pigtail I have a hot wire(red/blue) and a switch hot (violet/blue) and a black(grd). If I plug the hot wire from the seat into the violet/blue would that be ok or should I pull from the red/blue hot wire and install a relay? Corbin's directions are not much better as they have you hooking up a jumper in the fuse box and grd to battery directly. Any help or directions would be appreciated.
