Default Harley Heated Hammock Seat Question

Just purchased 54112-11 (harley hammock heated seat) .. it's a CVO seat from a 2011 Ultra Classic. Nice seat, now its time to get the heat working.

I have a 2010 FLHTK.

Question is this ... how do you electrcially connect it ? Does it connect to the ACC switch from the instrument panel ? If so, which wire is the ACC under the seat ? I see 2 available wires. One has 2 wires and a red cap. I see another one with one single red wire and a gray cap.

Does anyone know which one is controled by the ACC switch in the instrument panel ?

Thanks,
-Tim

there is another plug under the seat...dig down in front of the battery..it is a square plug with 4 wires (or maybe 3 wires) ...that is the plug that is wired to the aux. switch..

My sincerest apologies for changing the subject on this thread but can anyone tell me the difference in the Harley 54112-11 heated hammock seat and the Harley 52000004 heated hammock seat?

Thanks,

Correct- dig down in front of the battery. There is a rubber plug installed to keep debris out of the connector. Pull the rubber out and plug in your seat.

Thanks Guy's ! I found it. That little sucker was hidden good. Right down in front of the battery as you stated. Thanks for the guidance !

As far as the seat, it's essentially the same with a couple of exceptions. It has leather inserts on the seat and it actually has a deeper bucket (the seat) than the normal Hammock seat. I picked it up really cheap so, it was a no brainer. BTW .... the Hammock seat is by far one of the most comfortable seats I've owned.

Thanks again !

I too just purchased the Hammock seat (non heated) last week and cannot believe the difference between this and the Sundowner and stock seats. This seat is so comfortable that I no longer feel the bumps in my a$$.

I purchased a Harley Hammock seat in May 2011. In early August I went on a 5800 mile trip and my *** never got sore at all. Awesome seat, my *** loves it.

What is the fore/aft position like? It sounds like a great seat but I am looking for something to move me back a touch.

Thanks,
