Default Running Spot Lights @ Night

New to the touring side and now that its dark on my way home i find a lot of cars high beaming me when i run with the spot lights on ....

Never dawned on me how bright they actually are ... i see plenty of cages running fog lights as well and never high beam them

Other then the wife telling me she was pregnant and i asked howed that happen this may be the second dumbest question i ve asked

Should i be turning the spots off when on coming traffic approaches ??

My running lights stay on all the time, day or night. Check to see if your lights are in alignment, maybe that is why you are getting flashed..

I would say they are pointing too high. Try adjusting them down towards the ground just a little .

The spot lights really help make the bike more conspicuous in the daytime. However, at night, a motorcycle is equally conspicuous as other vehicles on the road without the spotlights annoying other drivers.

In a group ride, spotlights make it impossible for the lead rider to see ahead because of the glare in the mirrors.

Turn the damn things off at night. We've got enough public relation problems without you creating more enemies.

My spots are set a little higher than my low beams but are set more to the right. I want to see if there are deer, elk, moose, or bear on the side of the road.
