Another option is just stick some O2 sensors in there.
Whatever works to plug the holes.

Sorry they didn't work for you.

I saw quite a few sets go in the Touring classified. I finally scored some, they seemed to go pretty fast. Someone might have bought a new bike and have a set from the older bike. Lots of those folks trade bikes often.
Good Luck

I'd try and mount them myself before selling them; sometimes (all too often, actually), who you talk to on the phone doesn't always know as much as they lead you to believe.

I just welded an 09 rear frame section to an 83 frame, and the horns where the fender mounts is 2 inches wider but where it connects to the main frame was the exact same width...bet you can make it fit.

Cool ya maybe i will try. Was thinking about it today, should be out 1 inch from where the old muffler hanger was if they only increased the swingarm by 2 inches? Would be as simple as making a tab bolted to the stock mount with second holes 1 inch outside of stock? Said trans bracket is different but jeesh if 1 bolt lines up it aint going anywhere I wouldnt think. Worst case make a crude tab to reach a couple bolts, will be hidden anyway.
