locate your flasher and re-seat the connector a few times; could be something as simple as tarnish on the contacts

You should have 3 15A circuit breakers and a 30A (depending on what you run off your system) circuit breaker. Do a continuity check on the turn signal breaker. (This will be a 15A) If you get any kind of Ohms reading the breaker is bad. The meter should zero out if it is good. From there it will be a fishing expedition to find a bad ground or shorting wire. I have been working on my electrical for the past couple of weeks. My bike is 22 years old and the original wire is getting tired. Slowly replacing all including the connectors. As Machinehead said, replace ALL connectors involved with the changes.

Had a problem with my '94 FXSTC a few months ago. 4 way flashers worked fine, but when I hit the left or right individually, they would just turn on and not flash. Replaced the module with the Badlands module. Works fine now, except OEM module self-cancels based on your speed. The badlands cancels after 8-11 seconds regardless of speed. That's not a big deal. Only if I'm sitting at a light, I might have to keep hitting the turn signal button a few times to keep it going.

Failed to mention the controls switches at the bars. How new are they? Do some more continuity checks there as well.
