Evo with a Reverse/GP style shift pattern.
KP sent me his old mid controls because I was wanting to get rid of the forwards. I don't have all the hardware for the shift set up for mids as the PO threw it all away and plugged the hole for the tube, so I cobbled up something. I took some 5/16-1" flatbar, cut a piece at 3-1/8", drilled and tapped the appropriate holes, set the height (PO stripped the splined shaft) and then welded it on. I still have some grinding/contouring to do before I paint it but I like it. Bike handles better, is a lot more comfortable, and I can shift a whole lot faster now.

It would give me nightmares. Not that it's a bad setup, but because of my early riding years. Back in the day, as they say, my dad was a Yamaha/Triumph/Hodaka dealer. Yamahas were 1 down, 4 up. Hodakas were 1 up, 4 down. Triumphs were 1 down, 3 up with the shifter on the right side. I blew up a lot of stuff and my feet are still kinda retarded because of it.

**** like that doesn't bother me... I adapt fast.
Going to clean it all up tomorrow, do some re-shaping and paint it after the gun show. Going to clean up the peg mounts and re-paint them as well. I'm conflicted on what to do with the brake pedal as it needs some cleaning up. I'll probably dick with it later on down the road as I'm out of emery cloth and don't have any aluminum grinding disks.
lol, yes. Thanks man. They rock!
Did your gaskets get there safe and sound or are you still waiting on them?

Probably what I'm going to do. I was mostly talking about the scuff marks on it where someone put it on the ground. Will probably just hit with a flipper wheel to get all that off.
