Stickies can be very useful, but can also be annoying when they get to the point where you must scroll down a half of a page to get to current posts. How about a sticky for stickies, like "EVO Diagnostics and Repair Tips"? Then y'all can just sticky away.

The stickies are there so people don't have to keep asking the same questions over and over again.. I would prefer a system where new members have to read all the stickies before being allowed to post.....

LOL, and how many charging system questions have we had in the last couple of weeks? (that ended up being bad batteries).
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't tune a fish.

I like asking questions, I don't like reading reams of stickies.
I've lost count of how many repeat questions I've answered - repeatedly! Simply pointing someone to a Sticky requires repeat effort, however they do serve a useful function. I happen to believe we could use a darned sight more of them, but could also do with more volunteer 'minders' to maintain them and point newcomers at them. There is a lot of useful and informative stuff on HDF that is effectively lost from view, which is a shame. I support Beemervet's suggestion.
Not really but you get my drift...how any times do we get asked about which cam is "best"? We should compile a definitive list grouped by riding style and Johnson length......
