Default Electra Glide Bars on a 98 RKC?

My bars skim the top of my knees at full lock (I'm 6'4", ~260), so I'd like the change them out to something a little taller. Seen plenty of posts about using Heritage bars because you don't have to change cables, that seems like it would work. Anybody used Electra Glide bars though? An old biker my dad knows says he had them on an old Road King and loved it.

I had the FLHT bars on my 99 FLHR. They worked great!

I had the heritage bars on my 03 FLTR.

I don't remember which I liked better?

I gave a friend of mine a set of late 90's electra-glide bars for his 2008 heritage. They were almost identical.

So maybe it's just a matter of what I can get my hands on cheaper, cool. A couple of the guys I ride with have Heritages from the Evo era, should be able to take one for a spin and see how the bars feel.
