Since you are here watching this thread, I'll suggest to you what I told the lady on the phone. The description on the website should show the overall length or some info that the seat is shorter than other models. Also would be a good idea for customer service to be better educated before answering emails.

My 1995 FLHTP had a Mustang........ Most comfortable seat I ever had......

Most comfortable seats I've ever had. That's why I said I had them on my last 4 bikes so need in defending them....

I pulled the foam off on mine and found it date stamped to 1995!

It's still in good shape, no rot or crumble. I was impressed.

They will also sell you replacement covers if you want to refresh them.

My 95 Road king seat did not go up as that. It went up to the back of the console like you would expect it to. That's the wrong seat for a road king. Schex is right, that's for an electra glide.

I also had a Mustang wide touring on my road king and it was a great seat. As you can see, plenty of room for a passenger unlike the OP's seat.

Here is how the right seat fits on a Road King.
