Default 19 Year Old Bike, Maintence

1996 Harley Ultra Classic, This past weekend I put on new tires, Dunlap American Elite, new brake pads, and I sprayed a can of throttle body cleaner in and around the MM throttle bodies, it was like riding a new bike to work this morning.

New tire always make a difference. Add the other stuff and it just makes it a better ride.

I like that feeling

Good new tires make a difference.
Crappy new tires are just new crappy tires.

Not sure how much it helped but I added some octane booster and Lucas injector cleaner to mine.

New tires do make a difference. I have a buddy that rides an 1800 GoldWing. He had a nail in his tire last week so he got a new set of tires. Decided that a ride to Colorado was a good way to break them in. That's over 2000 miles round trip from here. I wish I had that kind of freedom.

I've said this before, but that's what's so awesome about having an older bike.

You buy a new bike, and one the day you ride it home it's as good as it's ever going to be.

You buy an old bike, and every year it gets better!!!
