Default Engine & Primary Installation / Torquing Steps...

Hi there. I'm finally getting a motor back into my bike this week ('95 FXDWG).

Am I assuming correctly that I would get all the engine bolts started, but not torqued down, and then get the rear case of the primary installed and torqued into place and then finish of torquing down the engine?

My thought is that if I torqued down the engine first, the engine/tranny alignment might be off ever so much causing stress on the primary rear case.

My manual does not seem to go into this depth of repair.

If transmission mounting not touched, make sure primairy fits flat to engine and trans then lightly snug all bolts then torque.
