I decided to try something different and scored a new set of tubes and legs off a softail standard. Here is the trick part. I am going to use the standard lower legs with 4 inch over slider covers with fatboy triple trees. I am also going to take the opportunity to have the legs polished and throw in some suspension goodies. Now here is the Hang up that I am currently having:

I have a set of black powdercoated trees but the are the older style that takes the tree mounted headlight racket that mounts to the front. I need the style of trees that has the hole in it to run the fairing I might use. Does anyone have a used set of trees laying around they want to sell or trade???? Wink wink






Also the manual I think shows the star nut placement incorrectly. It would seem to me that the star nut would go with the shorter edge toward the bearing and the longer edge toward the triple tree but the manual shows it backward. Someone remind me
