Default Little help

I have a bracket missing and I have no idea what it's even called or how to get it. I went by my local mechanic today and he is at a bit of a loss on how to get just that part as well. It's a bracket on the throttle body of my 98 road king. Any help would be appreciated on what it's called and how to get. Thanks. I'll attach a pic of mine and of one WITH the bracket. I had to put a temprary fix on it so please forgive the extra bolts Bracket that's missing.

I guess now economics comes into play. I have the ev27 cam etc but haven't yet bought a programmer. If that's $100, and a programmer is 200-400, what now? I know lots will say go for the carb. Just need to see what the best bang for the buck is.....

I would look at ebay and the classified here for a complete throttle body. Can probably pick up a complete throttle body for less than 100 if you patient(one sold Feb 6 for $17). This way you would have spare injectors, lines and air temp sensor if you would ever need them. Some of them come with stage one AC as well. Check with forum member johnod. He is doing a conversion and was offering up a stage on AC in another tread. I am sure he will probably be getting rid of all his MM stuff. As far as converting only you can make that decision. Lot on here will tell you to go carb but if your not planing on doing more than the cam to engine the MM system will be fine. It a pretty simple system and if you will take the time to do some reading it fairly easy to trouble shoot as well. Good luck.

You're correct on the spring although I'm not sure yet where it goes or how to fix it. If anyone has the time, do you think eBay list # 262838759707 parts would work? The idle control assembly looks a little different. However, it looks like attached to the wiring included is a cobra tuner which i could also use. At the risk of missing out on the buy or someone else snagging it. Thanks again.

Johnod since you were mentioned by name, do you have any parts coming up for sale? I apologize for not searching etc. I'm doing this via cell. I'd be interested in hearing about your conversion as well. That's an option that gets punted around a lot as well.
