Speaking of rain, we've had a fair bit this spring. Not Texas-level rain, but quite a bit by our standards it seems.
Ok, so my wife is a school teacher. She's been assigned to a new school for the next year (I'm going somewhere with this, so bear with me). That means she has to move all her accumulated stuff from her old school to the new one, and after eight years, there's a lot.
Yesterday she borrowed my truck and got it loaded up. No worries. It was a gorgeous day and I was planning on riding anyway. Today she is taking the truck down to her new school to unload. The forecast is for rain all day, so I was figuring on taking her car.
Heading out in the morning into the garage and...no car. Zip. Nada. Car's not there. Car's not on the driveway. Car's not parked on the street. Car's gone.
WTF?
At the moment, my assumption is that one of my daughters borrowed it. Hope I'm right.
Anyway, managed to miss the rain riding in, but looking at the forecast, I've got a soaking in my near future. Things could be worse.
