Greetings,
I picked up some dual intensity LED off ebay and run them beside my license plate.
My tail light has a tendency to vibrate itself to death a couple of times a year so it's nice to have some extra lights when the main one goes out!
Mine are wired up so they are running lights and the brighter elements are wired into the turn signals.
They were only about 8 bucks each.

The JP catalog has a LOT of lights. Also a lot on Ebay. I have an 87 FLHTC. It came stock with a 22 amp charging system. I used to have a 6 bullet light rack on it. With a lot of lights charging was iffy. I ended up taking it off. I upgraded to a 32 amp system. I guess what I am saying is maybe you should see what you charging system is before loading up with a lot of extra lights. In your pic it looks like the lenses are there on the Tour pac. Did you look under the lenses? Maybe the bulbs are shot or gone. They unscrew from inside the Tour pac. I want to put some back on,but the bullet rack got rusty sitting in the garage . I am thinking of these. I would have extra running and brake lights. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Greetings,
LEDs use a lot less current and seem to last a long time.

I replaced the little push in lights in the side of the tour pack and the fender tips with LED's. Be careful with the LED replacements for the main tail light bulb. There isn't a decent LED replacement for the standard tail light that I have found and that will fit in the housing. You may be looking at a complete tail light assembly replacement, which seem to go for the $100 up range. I bought a 18 wheeler trailer LED tail light. I'm going to experiment with mounting that inside the HD housing and see how that goes.

I put a Nisan Tailblazer in my tail light. Brake lights modualte for a while before going solid. I also put 2 inch long strips of flashing LEDs on the bottom edge of my bags and hooked to the brake circuit. I also bought 2 chrome housed bullet lights (Drag Specialties, about 12 bux each from Dennis Kirk) that are dual filament. They fit between the bag and the fender strut in the threaded holes. Hooked them to tail and brakes. Cages don't tailgate me now after I cycle the brakes at them!

Thumbs up I did order the J&P Catolog

Hey Chuckw2

I did order the catolog but its about 2 to 3 weeks in the waiting. But that's O.K.

I like the idea that you suggested; probably can get
pictured ideas on color stripping.

Thanks again

Schooner, if you google 'LED lights' and have a play you will be amused for hours! Even Amazon has LED light kits for your bike and some of the custom people make light kits. That bike of yours could look like a Christmas tree in no time!
