Default 98fxd superglide front fork seals

My front fork seals are starting to leak want to repair them was wondering do I have to buy a special tool for the seals to install.I did them along time ago and I forgot what I did if I used a tool or just slid them down Thanks again

You can buy a special tool, or you can get a piece of schedule 40 PVC and tap it in place with that. Be sure to check the bushings for wear. Hope this helps.

what do you mean by bushings ? Dust covers I was going to change too. Thanks
