Now do you mean Gals, or Gauls (French)?!

I just made the mistake of googling 'galls' - amazing how many different things that can be!

My old brake fluid was amber in color and had a lot of dirt in it. Sucked it out with a turkey baster, and then ran half a bottle of clean HD Dot5 through the cylinder/lines to flush and bleed them. Haven't had a problem yet and that was almost 3500-4000 miles ago.

I'm going to flush. I'm still getting the swish swish swish sound and it's not braking smooth. I checked the rotors they are not warped. Everything's clean they should be fine.

Could your caliper(s) be sticking?

You can get that if the rotors are not centred too, check the mounting bolts and how it centres on the hub.

Calipers release I cleaned them good. It's easy to push still makes noise though. I'll check the center. Didn't even think that could be off. Should probably check the torque again too. Bad fluid wouldn't do this would it?

Flushed the fluid, clean fluid made a huge difference in the brake lever firmness. It's hoisted from the garage rafter to hold it straight up while waiting on the mount so I can't get the rotors off the check the centering.

If they are off centre then you have problems....only seen it with aftermarket rotor spacers on wide glide conversions and when the bolts are not tight.

You will always be able to hear the pads rubbing on the discs when you push it around though.
