Everyone has already made many great suggestions, but I'll mention that "feathering" of fourth gear has been a common experience for me with multiple evo tranny's, as JOE G and HOGHEAD have also experienced. Personally in most situations I've avoided "thin" trans fluids, shifted like I meant it, and made shifter adjustments and it's helped.
