Default Supertrapp SuperMeg 2-1 O2 Bungs

I have an 2005 FLHTCI and would like to put a Supertrapp SuperMeg 2-1 exhaust on it. However the model 828-71453 listed for my bike doesn't have O2 ports. The pipe listed for an 07-08 part # 828-71576 does and I read somewhere that the only difference is the mounting bracket on the transmission. Anyone ever do this? I really want the O2 ports. I know this is a 88 vs 96 engine and am wondering if the pipe would sit too high because of the 3/8 longer stroke on the 07-08 engine.

The pipe won't sit any different as the cylinders and heads are physically the same between the 88 and the 96. What tuner are you running to need the O2 ports?

Planning a 113 build using a TTS tuner. Really want to use the Supermeg but am considering the Fat Cat pipe.

Talk to Supertrapp. The 07-08 pipe will most likely fit and does have O2 sensors. I think you will find they will be the 18mm sensors.

I purchased a Supermeg for my 05 Deluxe about a year ago. I found several P/N's listed and called to see why. Turned out the later model P/N would fit and it had both 12 and 18mm O2 sensors. That was the only difference in the pipes.

No one else could answer my questions...only Supertrapp. The suggested P/N for my bike had no O2 sensors.
