Both decent pipes if you are looking to go the unconventional route. While I don't have personal experience with either, I have seen a lot more of the RB Racing stuff in person and read a lot more about them on the forums. I am sure someone who actually has them will jump on here and give you some first hand experience knowledge of them both. What I do know is the people who chose the RB pipes have done so strictly from a performance standpoint...

I just took off a RB LSR pn# 00-1123 "c" style 1.75" primary tubes, slash cut, off my 2008 FLHX. When the motor was at 103", comp set at 195ccp with dme 575 cams(approx 10.5 static), it sounded pretty good and made teens both hp and tq. When I went 107" with wood 9f cams 210ccp(11.5 comp static) the sound became pretty darn loud to anyone riding near me, made high 120's hp and low 120's tq. The build quality is good, it was on my bike since 2008 and is in pretty darn good shape. After I get my bike tuned with the new exhaust I may list it for sale. I have looked at area 51's online and seen their results and I was not motivated to give them a try, doesn't mean I think they are bad, I just think they wouldn't be as good as the RB on my bike.

I'm still on the fence, heard good things about both. I know the RB has a welded in, baffle, no packing; and the Area 51 has a tune-able baffle, no packing. I think they give you three baffle sections for varying levels of sound.
RB sure is a good looking exhaust.

The Rb pipe is a high rpm performance pipe. Not he best on the low end till about 3500 rpm then watch out the climb in performance is very good. Helps your motor to ramp a little faster and compliments peak numbers and yea it's loud.

Also put on a Bassani 2-1 and really did like the low end pull. not sure of actual numbers but it did seem to muffle it a bit.

I have an RB Blackhole on my stage 1 RK. Great pipe, godd performance, not too loud.If i were to do it again,I'd have gotten the Spyder. The LSR is a very loud pipe, and more for all out ,top end performance

Dude........ Honestly save your money. I just checked out their website and am not impressed for the money. Anyone can load up a 131" motor and put out results with high comp.....Don't be fooled. I've never heard of them and they are wicked expensive..... You're only running a 98"er which only requires a 1 3/4 pipe. a 2" is way too much. You'll never get a low end out of a 2" setup.......Best possible scenarios are the tunable Supertrap, D&D, Thunderheader or high rpm RB racing but you can only get the performance you're looking for with a 1 3/4" setup... "But" it's your ride and your decision.....

One other exhaust I was looking at before, was the Rush Wrath-3, it's a 2:1 stepped header, ceramic coated. Would that be too much for my motor?
