Are true dual better than the stock crossover?

 

Past posts resulted in NO!!!(In favor of stock x-overs)&nbsp\\;Now can u feel the HP/TQ difference,i doubt it.
Get a 2-1 set up with the falsee pipe,you'll get the best HP/TQ output plus the look of duals!!

Also go to the sound postings to hear my set up with a stock motor!!!

 

I had a set of true duals and took them off as the power loss was obvious on a pure stock Electra Glide.

 

Can you feel the difference.&nbsp\\; You bet.&nbsp\\; The crossover with slip on's is a very nice setup for a brisk responsive bike.&nbsp\\; Duals sound great, (but not that much better than stock with good mufflers.)&nbsp\\; When I first put true duals on my 06 and picked it up, I could really feel the loss in bottom end.&nbsp\\; I rode it till I got used to it, but within the 1st week I was ready to swap them back to stock headers.&nbsp\\; Now I just run a 2-1.

 

Tell us about your 2 in to 1 and how you like it.

 

2-1's are best performance-wise, then the stock crossover, then duals.&nbsp\\;I love my D&amp\\;D Fatcat 2-1.&nbsp\\; Nice sound, nice power

 

Has anyone else checked out the 2 into 1 into 2 on the 09 touring bikes? I would think they would give you the best of both worlds. Question is will they fit earlier bikes?
