Iron Liners

On stock 3.750" HD jugs they get thinner(103, 3.870") and thinner(106.5, actually 3.937"). HD doesn't really offer a 107-106.5). Gotta go out for it which is a good thing.

The 110's (4.000) are a bigger casting, so I guess back to stock. Has to be bigger so the spout that goes into the cases has enough metal.

Axtell 107 (106.5 actually, 3.937) cylinders are thicker at 3.937 bore than stock TC 96. But I don't know the exact figures. Lot of Iron there.

When I picked up my parts that were left after my 103 kit was installed, I mentioned to the tech that I planned to us them to take my dyna out to 103. He said he would not bore stock cylinders out that far. He recommended buying SE103 cylinders.

That guy, has not a clue, as to what he is talking about.
Hope he excersised better thoughts, during the assembly of your build, than that.

Nothing special about SE cylinders, same as stock.
Lots of people bore stock cylinders to 3.750. Thats what a, SE 103- 3.750, is.
Stock, bored out.

I think he's asking for the thickness of the walls and not the diameter of the bore.

I looked at the service manual quickly but did not see it...

3.938 will give you either 98 or 107
